The story behind Copenhagen Solutions Lab: Advancing Urban Development through Innovation

The ambition of Copenhagen Solutions Lab is to generate practical knowledge and results through the application of new solutions related to digital technologies that can be specifically utilized in the city's development efforts and the implementation of urban strategies.

CSL employs a strategy of accelerated innovation, drawing from experiences throughout CSL's existence. The strategy is built upon building relationships around innovation collaborations between the City of Copenhagen's departments and CSL. These relationships ensure coordination of innovation needs within the municipality.

CSL leads and facilitates processes based on the identified needs, leading towards testing and trials of concrete solutions in collaboration with companies, other cities, and knowledge institutions within CSL's innovation network (see below).
